The Annual IP Awards Gala is IndieProducer’s biggest event of the year. This event was created to honor the winners of the IP Screenwriting and Short Film Contest and to recognize a successful filmmaker for their contribution to the art of film with our IP Award for “Outstanding Contribution to Film". Past recipients have been actor/director Bill Paxton, actor/writer/producer/director Jon Favreau, and most recently, actor/producer/director Andy Garcia.

The Judges, Presenters and Keynote Speakers are all successful, working members of the Hollywood community. Throughout the ceremony they share their passion for film as well as the struggles and obstacles they had to overcome on the way to success. Last year's Keynote Speaker was screenwriter and director, Barry Blaustein (Coming to America, The Nutty Professor 1 & 2, The Ringer).
