Gaye Jacobs For 20 years Gaye Jacobs launched numerous cable networks, creating exciting cable-related campaigns and helped further strategic business plans for numerous companies and associations. Prior to starting It’s In The Bag, Jacobs served as Executive Director for Bob Gold & Associates, a PR agency specializing in the cable television business and was National Sales Director for Aerocast, a streaming media technology company for the cable industry, as well as worked as a business consultant at Incanta to recommend strategies that would help bring that company to market. For 12 years Jacobs served as Vice President Affiliate Sales and Marketing for Bravo Networks, where under her guidance the network grew from 300,000 to 30 million subscribers. Earlier stints in the industry range from helping to launch the Fashion Channel, one of cable TV's first shopping networks, to positions as Regional Director, Affiliate Sales and Marketing for Lifetime Television and Corporate Marketing Director for Nostalgia Television. Prior to joining the cable industry, she owned a giftware sales organization representing manufacturers of giftware to retail stores. Jacobs served on the Board of Directors for the Southern California CTAM Chapter, where she is a co-founder for their Golden Palm Awards. She has also held positions on the Boards of Women in Cable & Telecommunications, and Bay Area Cable Club. Her experience in the cable industry along with her retail background lead her to create It’s In The Bag. She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Advertising from Youngstown State University in Ohio. She resides in Rancho Palos Verdes, California with her husband and two children. # # #
